Your tasks:
In this position you will support the accounting team.
- Work in an international environment, especially close cooperation with our parent company in the Netherlands
- As a team of 4 employees, we take over the complete bookkeeping (accounts receivable, accounts payable, assets and general ledger accounts) for our two German companies in Hamburg.
- Support with the allocation of employees and their costs to our sister companies in the Group.
- Cooperation with the Shared Service Center in Rotterdam, which posts outgoing invoices for us and carries out intercompany payment runs and reconciliations.
- Processing of national and international payment transactions.
- Independent preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements.
- Contact person for accounting questions of the project controller
- Preparation of VAT returns
Your profile:
- Successfully completed commercial training or a comparable qualification, ideally as an accountant (m/f/d)
- Very careful, reliable and conscientious way of working, initiative and ability to self-manage
- Communication and social skills, ability to work in a team
- Confident handling of MS Office and very good knowledge of Excel
- Good written and spoken English
